I was inspired by an iconic, old photo that showed construction workers perched on a beam high above our most famous modern, man made city, New York. I envisioned that same iconic location, still the home of its original indigenous caretakers, represented by their women in traditional regalia, and sitting on that same beam high above the land, then called Manna-hata, "the place where we get wood to make bows."
